White & Green

Few nights ago, BuTimah and myself decided to make some agar-agar, following a recipe from a book which I bought from Miri. It was quite simple to make. We didn't actually follow the recipe, just using pudding and jelly powder packets instead.

Cooking is similar to chemistry experiment. We are actually mixing chemicals, by applying heat, removing heat, setting substances to cool ... sounds familiar, doesn't it? Just like your school chemistry classes!

Anyhow, as mentioned before, this is also an experiment. Just wanting to see how it turned out, despite not following the actual recipe. It was discovered that : 1. need a deeper pan 2. not to use pudding packets, too soft (ngalih membuka the cut-outs!)

But overall, the taste is good. It was a succesful trial. Kids will definitely love it! Here's the slideshow :
